🔒 Two layers of protection

Layer 1 — the microchip: Implanted under the skin, it can't fall off, be removed, or wear out. Any vet, shelter, or animal control officer with an RFID scanner can read the chip and trace it back to you through the Animal ID global database. The chip is connected to 114 international registries including AAHA and Europetnet.

Layer 2 — the QR tag: Attached to the collar, it's the fast lane home. A neighbor, a jogger, anyone who finds your pet can scan the QR code with their phone camera and immediately see your pet's name, photo, and your phone number. No app download required. You receive a push notification and email with the GPS location of the scan.

🌐 Free registration in the global Animal ID database

Your pet is registered for free and linked to major international search networks — including AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) and Europetnet. If your pet is ever lost and scanned anywhere in the world, the chip will be traced back to you.

After registration, you get access to the free Animal ID mobile app where you can:

• Manage your pet's digital profile
• View scan history
• Receive notifications when your pet's chip is scanned
• Share your pet's profile with a vet or new owner

💉 Implantation

The microchip comes in a pre-loaded sterile syringe, ready to use. The procedure is similar to a standard vaccination — quick and minimally invasive. The AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) recommends microchipping from 6–8 weeks of age.

We recommend having the chip implanted by a licensed veterinarian. If you choose to implant at home, follow the included instructions carefully and register the chip in the Animal ID app immediately after implantation.
